Food and nonfood-contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed, and used — Inspector Note: Observed the WIC with an ambient temperature of 44.2 degrees F. and in need of repair. Equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair.

Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices — Inspector Note: Observed leak at the faucet of the 3-compartment sink in the main kitchen and leak at the back hand sink on piping in the main kitchen. A plumbing system and hoses conveying water shall be constructed and repaired with approved materials according to law.

Employees are properly training in food safety, including food allergy awareness. Also, persons unnecessary to the food service establishment operation are not allowed in the food prep, food storage, or ware-washing areas. Stated to PIC to obtain food allergy awareness training and to ensure authorized personnel are in the main kitchen area.
