No bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods or approved alternate method properly followed — Inspector Note: Observed PIC grab 2 green peppers with bare hands and put the peppers in a container of peppers. PIC confirmed that peppers are put on side of pizza in pizza box and are not cooked. CA: Except when washing fruits and vegetables or as specified under subsection (a)4, food employees shall not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment. COS- Education provided. PIC voluntarily discarded containers of peppers.
