Adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used โ€” Inspector Note: Observed employee food stored mixed with facility related items stored inside the reach-in cooler. CA: Advised PIC 1. Areas designated for employees to eat, drink, use tobacco products and electronic devices shall be located so that food, equipment, linens, and single-service and single-use articles are protected from contamination. 2. Lockers or other suitable facilities shall be located in a designated room or area where contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens and single-service and single-use articles cannot occur. COS: PIC removed food items during time of inspection

Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized โ€” Inspector Note: Observed debris build-up inside the ice scoop holder in direct contact with 2 ice scoops. CA: Advised PIC equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. COS: PIC removed the holder and scoops and placed inside of the 3-compartment sink to be re-washed and sanitized during time of inspection
