Food separated and protected — Inspector Note: Observed vegetables stored next to raw beef/chicken in the multidoor reach in cooler. Observed cooked chicken breast stored in the meat cooler (raw chicken ) in the one door reach in cooler. CA: Food shall be protected from cross contamination by separating raw animal foods during storage, preparation, holding, and display from: Raw ready-to-eat food including other raw animal food such as fish for sushi or molluscan shellfish, or other raw ready-to-eat food such as fruits and vegetables, Cooked ready-to-eat food. COS: vegetable was removed and placed in the vegetable section of the cooler away from raw animal products.
