Food in good condition, safe, and unadulterated — Inspector Note: Observed 3 cartons of unopened whole milk past their expiration date. Observed 1 carton of opened dairy/heavy cream held past its expiration date. CA: PIC was advised that food shall be safe, unadulterated, and honestly presented COS: All dairy products held past their expiration date were voluntarily discarded.

Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized — Inspector Note: Observed pink and black buildup of residue inside the ice machine. CA: PIC was advised that: 1. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch.

In-use utensils: properly stored — Inspector Note: Observed food grade scoops stored in sugar, creole seasoning, and pico de gallo with handles touching food. PIC removed scoops and advised to ensure handles are stored upwards not touching stored food. 511-6-1.04(4)(k) - In-Use Utensils, Between-Use Storage (C) (k)Storage of In-Use Utensils.
