Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices — Inspector Note: Observed the knob on the hand sink not able to be turned on. CA- knob shall be repaired, hand sink hot water was still working. Contamination prevented during food preparation, storage, display — Inspector Note: Observed multiple boxes of food stored directly on the ground in the WIF. Observed a bag of onions stored directly on the floor in the WIC and observed boxes of chips on the ground. CA- all items shall be stored 6 inches off the ground. 511-6-1.04(4)(q) - Food Storage (C) (q) Food Storage. 1. Proper date marking and disposition — Inspector Note: Observed beans that were taken out the freezer dated 6/20 observed corn that was taken out the freezer dated 8/24 and observed sliced turkey dated 9/9 and sliced pastrami dated 9/9. COS- items were discarded and PIC was told on proper date marking and marking items once they are removed from the freezer. 511-6-1.04(6)(h) - Ready-To-Eat Time/Temperature Control for Safety Food, Disposition (P) (h) Ready-to-Eat, Time/Temperature Control for Safety Food, Disposition. 1. P 2. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time / temperature control for safety food prepared in a food service establishment and dispensed through a vending machine with an automatic shutoff control shall be discarded if it exceeds 7 days.
