Garbage/refuse properly disposed; facilities maintained — Inspector Note: Observed a large hole in front of the dumpster due to the dumpster being rusted. PIC will contact the landlord. The dumpster must be replaced by 5/25/2026. Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, and returnables used with materials containing food residue and used outside the food service establishment shall be designed and constructed to have tight-fitting lids, doors, or covers. 2. Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse and recyclables such as an on-site compactor shall be installed so that accumulation of debris and insect and rodent attraction and harborage are minimized and effective cleaning is facilitated around and, if the unit is not installed flush with the base pad, under the unit.

Intake and exhaust air ducts shall be cleaned and filters changed so they are not a source of contamination by dust, dirt, and other materials. Food and nonfood-contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed, and used — Inspector Note: Observed a container cracked in the walk in cooler with diced onions in it. 511-6-1.05(2)(c) - Multiuse Food-Contact Surfaces (Pf) (c) Multiuse Food-Contact Surfaces. 1. Multiuse food-contact surfaces shall be: (i) Smooth; Pf (ii) Free of breaks, open seams, cracks, chips, inclusions, pits, and similar imperfections; Pf (iii) Free of sharp internal angles, corners, and crevices; Pf (iv) Finished to have smooth welds and joints; Pf and (v) Except as specified in paragraph 2 of this subsection, accessible for cleaning and inspection by one of the following methods: (I) Without being disassembled, Pf (II) By disassembling without the use of tools, Pf or (III) By easy disassembling with the use of handheld tools commonly available to maintenance and cleaning personnel such as screwdrivers, pliers, open-end wrenches, and Allen wrenches. Equipment and utensils shall be designed and constructed to be durable and to retain their characteristic qualities under normal use conditions.

Nonfood-contact surfaces clean — Inspector Note: Observed build up of debris on the interior surface (bottom) of both reach in freezers (single and double doors). Observed build up around the faucet area of the handwashing sink. Observed the glass in the walk in cooler and the bottom of it with an accumulation of old food and debris. Observed the exterior surface of the ventilation hood system with a dust build up. 511-6-1.05(7)(a)2,3 - Equipment, Food/Nonfood-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils, food-contact surfaces of cooking equipment & nonfood-contact surfaces free of accumulations (C) 2. The food-contact surfaces of cooking equipment and pans shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other soil accumulations. 3. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Observed the water faucet leaking on the 3-compartment sink. The faucet must be repaired and maintained in good repair. Observed the draft beer reach in cooler with water nesting on the bottom floor.
